The apartment is part of a midcentury, all-redwood home on a cul-de-sac, about a five-minute walk to UCSC and a five-minute drive to downtown Santa Cruz. Enter through a locked side gate to your private entrance at the rear of the house. Motion-sensor lights guide you at night. The bedroom area has no shared wall and features an organic queen bed, built-in desk, coffee hutch with a Nespresso machine and milk frother, round dining table with two chairs, and TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The small kitchen-prep area includes a full-size refrigerator, smart toaster oven, countertop induction burner, microwave, sink, and fully stocked kitchen items. The private bathroom has a shower, hair dryer, and towels. There is plenty of storage and thermostat-controlled heat. Limited use of the washer and dryer is available. Guests have a private patio area. The rest of the backyard and pool are shared with the hosts. This is a quiet, studious home. No overnight guests or parties; quiet hours begin at 10 p.m.
