Family cottage available end Nov to start of Jan Close to Cambridge and easy reach to London. .£500 per week (minimum 2 weeks) inclusive of bills. Preference given for longer stays and discount rate can be given for stays over 2 weeks. . There is a train station in village with trains to Cambridge or London. The house has 2 bedrooms with double beds and there are also 2 sofa beds. There is a sitting room with 2 sofas and a tv, a kitchen, a dining room, family bathroom (toilet, bathtub, sink and shower,) there is a washing machine , dryer and dishwasher. There is an outside cabin used as an office and writing space. The private back garden overlooks fields and there is a fire bowl for when the weather allows. . Much of the cottage is 1800’s with some parts 1690’s and other parts being modern extensions. The cottage is detached and has a private driveway and gated garden with a driveway for 2 cars. Car use can be discussed for a small fee by agreement and with insurance being put in place. There is central heating. There is an electric piano and classical guitar available. The kitchen is fully equiped. There are 2 pubs in the village and a 7 day open coffee roasters/bakery within short walking distance. There is a golf centre 5 minutes drive away, 2 farm shops and an award winning local butchers are within a few minutes drive and several large supermarkets are also within a short drive.. If you are interested there will be a fully decorated real Christmas tree in situ (as the family will be having various Xmas family functions before we leave)- it is a perfect Xmas house.
