Hello! I am looking for someone who will enjoy and care for my home as much as I have. Welcome to a quiet, newly updated townhome in one of Seattle's most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods. The home is thoughtfully furnished and well suited for a sabbatical, research appointment, visiting faculty position, medical fellowship, extended work assignment, or anyone looking for a comfortable long-term stay in Seattle. Two of the bedrooms are furnished, while the third is set up as a playroom/guestroom/office (foldable foam mats available). If you'd like a third bed, I'm happy to discuss furnishing it. Recent updates include a new roof, fully remodeled kitchen with all new appliances, remodeled bathrooms, and welcoming living spaces. I have lots of appliances too, including Instant Pot, air fryer, mini-blender and food processor, vacuums and air purifiers, There's also a porch and a small (unfenced) yard, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Just a short walk from Columbia City, you'll find an array of diverse, ethnic restaurants; there's a reason this is the most diverse zip code in Seattle! There's also a grocery store, farmer's market, coffee shops, ice cream shops, library, movie theater, clubs/live music venues and best of all, the Link Light Rail station, making it easy to explore the city without a car. One of my favorite things about living here is Seward Park, one of Seattle's most beautiful parks and home to one of the city's few old-growth forests. In the summer, you can swim at the beaches on Lake Washington, run/hike the wooded trails, or enjoy weekend bike rides along the lake when the scenic road is closed to cars. I have a paddle board and kayak and bikes available for use if desired! The neighborhood offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to everything that makes Columbia City special, including its walkable streets, acclaimed restaurants, farmers market, monthly night market, and excellent transit connections. Whether you're commuting to work or spending the weekend exploring Seattle, it's hard to beat this location. From Columbia City, you can easily reach the University of Washington, Seattle University/Capitol Hill, downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Lynnwood, Federal Way, Sea-Tac Airport, and beyond. I'm looking for guests who will appreciate and care for this home as if it were their own. If you're searching for a welcoming place to call home during your time in Seattle, I'd love to hear from you!
