Comments: West Footscray offers a calm and comfortable base with excellent access to the city and university life. The house is located in a very quiet residential street, with minimal traffic—mostly just occasional neighbours passing through—making it an ideal environment for focus, writing, and rest. It is approximately a 1 km walk to West Footscray railway station, with a direct train line taking around 15 minutes into central Melbourne and easy access to the The University of Melbourne. There is also a bus stop about 400 metres away for the 220 bus, which travels directly into the CBD. For added convenience, I have two bicycles available that guests are welcome to use, making local travel and commuting easy and flexible. The neighbourhood itself is welcoming and multicultural, with local cafés, parks, and good food options nearby, while still feeling peaceful and residential.
