We are a couple of university researchers who will be away for a research visit from late September until 12 December, and we are looking for someone to sublet our apartment during this period. Ideally, we would like to find university staff, academics, researchers, or working professionals who will take good care of the flat with attention and respect. The apartment is nestled in the vibrant Maxvorstadt neighbourhood, right in the heart of Munich’s university life and within walking distance of both LMU and TUM. It is also ideally located for enjoying Munich’s cultural scene, just a few steps from the Pinakotheken, the Glyptothek, and several other museums — perfect for anyone interested in art, history, or the natural sciences. Nearby, you will find several supermarkets and shops, including REWE, DM, and Edeka, as well as many cafés, restaurants, and lively local spots for going out. The area is also surrounded by green spaces. The English Garden is only about 15 minutes away on foot, and there is also a smaller, quieter park nearby, perfect for walking, reading, or relaxing. The apartment is very well connected by public transport, with the U3/U6 metro line, tram lines 27 and 28, and several buses close by, making it easy to reach any part of the city. One of the best things about the flat is that, although it is located in the heart of this vibrant neighbourhood, the street itself is very quiet and peaceful — ideal for relaxing, reading, or working from home.
