Beautiful, fully furnished apartment in Lyngby/Copenhagen, Denmark

I am a full-time academic (tenured, full professor) at a reputed Danish University in the North of the country - previously a full professor at DTU myself. One of our family members has been living at this apartment but they will move out in July 2026. Hence, we look for a tenant, ideally a university researcher / academic staff who is here in Copenhagen area for a sabbatical at one of the Universities in the Zealand province / Greater Copenhagen including DTU. The apartment has a hallway, two full-size bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a living room-cum-dining room and WC/Toilet & Shower. Hallway has storage cupboards for coats, jackets etc. All rooms are fitted with lamps and has radiators / heaters. There is a Wi-fi connection. Both bedrooms have storage cupboards and come with bed, mattress, pillows, and linen etc. Both bedrooms have a study desk and chair. Living room is fully furnished with cozy, comfortable sofa sets, reclining chair, tea table, TV stand, and a dining table with 4 chairs. Kitchen is equipped with all appliances such as microwave, oven, fridge / freezer, coffee machine, kettle, all utensils for cooking and cutleries for dining. There is a washing machine and dishwasher in the apartment and the drier and drying rooms are in the basement. There is place in the basement to securely store bicycles. The apartment has a balcony and has access to communal gardens. The apartment is at the heart of Kongens Lyngby, basically with 4 min walking distance to Lyngby speed (S) train and bus station and 4 - 5 min walk to the main street, that is full of cozy pedestrian streets filled with cafés, bakeries, and local designer boutiques . It will be 5 min drive or 10 min bicycle ride to main campus of Technical University of Denmark (DTU). The newly opened tram line (Letbane) stop is only a 2 min walk from apartment that takes directly into and around the city of Copenhagen. Lyngby is one of the Denmark’s most desirable suburbs in Greater Copenhagen and Capital Region of Denmark, with several lakes, forests, parks, museums, cozy restaurants, shopping malls etc. It is 10 min drive to the Northern Beaches, along the Gold Coast. This suburb itself is surrounded by safe and beautiful neighbourhood such as Hellerup, Gentofte etc. University of Copenhagen main campus as well as other campuses in the city can be reached within ca. 20 min. Speed (S-) train lines take you directly to Copenhagen city in minutes but there are frequent buses at every 10 min connect the entire region. If you have a car, quick access to Helsingørmotorvejen makes driving smooth and efficient, to nearby towns such as Hellerup, Helsingør, Klampenborg and to Northern Beaches.
