Quiet, cosy 2 bed with garden in Kennington, walk to Central London

Our cosy and serene two storey, 2 bedroom home is available for a short stay in summer 2026 while we are on fieldwork. 30 minutes walk from Central London but quiet with birdsong, it's a perfect base for research visits or writing retreats. There's a writing nook in the main room, and desks in each of the bedroom. Lovely light, stripped floors and a fully functional kitchen. The flat is on a walking path surrounded by trees and gardens, and also 3 minutes from Kennington Station on the Northern Line. Less than 10 minutes to the restaurants and shops in Kennington or Elephant and Castle (and to LSBU and London College of Communication. It's ideal if you are taking public transport or walking, because there is limited parking nearby. We're looking for someone to take good care of our home including watering the gardens in front and back and the indoor plants. Our neighbourhood is dense and convivial. Normally there's one adult and one teenager in residence - our house is suitable for one or two adults and older children. There are two double beds and one bathroom.
