Hello! Renting out my home while I take a temporary position abroad. The house is a one-story bungalow plus finished basement. The main floor is an open concept kitchen/living space with a skylight, and has a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The largest (~10' x 20') looks out into the garden and is currently set up as the office/creative room, the smaller (~9' x 12') is currently my bedroom and has a queen bed and new memory-foam mattress. The basement has an additional bathroom, another bedroom/guest room with a full height ceiling, and a small kitchenette, as well as a laundry room. The basement bedroom has a Murphy bed with a genuinely amazing mattress. Aside from the bedroom, the basement ceilings are low - about 6'. Outside there is a large and quiet wild treed garden. The house is on a quiet street, 5-7 min walk from Woodbine subway station, 10 min walk to Taylor Creek ravine, and about 40 min walk to Woodbine Beach. There is a driveway available if you need parking. The neighbourhood has a number of cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, great elementary schools, and quick access to Woodbine Station and the Bloor/Danforth subway line, GO access (Danforth GO station), or car access to the DVP. It's about 35-40 min to get to U of T St George campus, about 30 min to TMU, about 30 min driving to get to UTSC, and a 7 min bus ride or a 30-40 min walk to Woodbine Beach and the beaches boardwalk. I think the place would suit 1-3 adults, but am open to discussing other configurations e.g. if you want to re-arrange things to accommodate a kid's room. Please write me and let me know what your needs are. Other stuff: - Air purifier - Electric adjustable sit/stand office desk - ? Possible bicycle use - Non-destructive pets with discussion (asthma/allergy) - as you can see, there's already some cat infrastructure :) - LGBTQ+ - Low scent/chemical household
