Our Coogee apartment is large and quiet - with a lovely green shared garden and lawn, shady trees, a communal bbq, entertaining area and herb garden on one side - and a park and walkway on the other. Approx. 10-minute easy walk, before or after the day's work to: - Pacific Ocean and Coogee Beach. - Wylie's Baths, swim in the rockpool, take in views along the coast. - Cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby - Coogee Bay Road shops (and supermarket) - The Spot, Randwick. - The Ritz Cinema - showing independent World movies - Coogee Diggers Club - A 'state of the art' gym just 3' walk from home. - Randwick light rail and buses - connections to the City, to Sydney Opera House, to Circular Quay and ferries to harbour suburbs, and to Manly Beach. - Unrestricted street parking nearby. Our apartment has timeless Art Deco character with stained glass windows, high ornate ceilings, large rooms and timber floors reminiscent of that architectural era. It is airy and open to the sun and sea breezes from the North East - pleasant in summer, warm in winter. Bedroom 2 - single beds can be stacked, and a desk added to make a second office/study. We are lifelong residents of Sydney - originally from Manly and now at Newport on the Northern Beaches. My family live on the Eastern Beaches. This cosy apartment is my 'home-away-from-home'. We'd like to offer our comfortable apartment to like minded people relocating to Sydney on sabbatical leave, or to work on other projects at any of the 6 Universities across Sydney (all are accessible via light rail and bus from Coogee, albeit with varying travel times) and Hospitals, or in the City and environs.
