We are fortunate to spend the summer in Maine with my husband’s family, who are academics - they suggested we look at offering up our home while we’re away. We are a mid 40s couple with no children (just a lovely pug!) that have spent the last 4 years enjoying this beautiful, historic home and filling it with things we love from our travels (and local vintage shops!) Our neighborhood is one of the most sought after in the city, with stately homes and beautiful gardens steps away on the historic St Charles streetcar line. In addition to many shops, cafes and bistros within walking distance, we have easy access to downtown and the French Quarter with the streetcar as well as dedicated bike lanes (about a 20 min trip)!

Comments: Our beautiful, historic home (built in 1901!) is located on a quiet street with off street parking, a large, tree covered backyard and has ample space to work, study and relax. Our neighbors are delightful, lifelong residents of uptown New Orleans.
