I am offering a large, sunny fully-furnished three-room suite located on the 3rd floor of my three story, single-family house. You would share the house with me, my dog Stella, and one roommate (our bedrooms are on the 2nd floor). The rental is available for ONE PERSON only. The rent includes Wi-Fi, utilities, and shared-use house supplies which I purchase as needed. The space is currently furnished, but the exact furnishings may change. Current photos, FaceTime, or a visit are possible. Bedding and towels may be supplied for people coming from overseas. There are dishes, utensils, and cookware available for anyone coming from overseas or for as-needed use. The house is a large, three-story home with plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, two front porches, and a backyard. My home is in the Tufts Medford area, with neighborhood shortcuts to campus and the new MBTA GreenLineT for easy access to Somerville and Boston. The MBTA Bus to Harvard Square is steps away and provides easy access to the MBTA RedLine, Davis Square, Porter Square, Kendall MIT, Cambridge and Boston, and the Commuter Rail. Interstate 93 is half a mile away. There is on-street parking and currently, no resident sticker is required. The house is within walking distance of Medford's three main areas for coffee shops: restaurants, CVS, banking, post office, etc. It is also within walking distance of Whole Foods and a few smaller convenience grocers. Somerville is a ~15-minute walk. STELLA! Stella is my six-year-old DEAF Boxer. Stella loves people yet will mostly ignore you if you ignore her, and she sticks close to me. Stella was born deaf, and her safety is my priority. Keeping the front gate closed is vital, and being conscious of her safety is essential. She's pretty easygoing :-) It is a 'dog house' meaning a dog lives here. She may bark some mainly at me when she needs (wants) something. She barks a normal amount. She sheds some, but I also do most of the house cleaning! AND there is a gate to the third floor so she doesn't go up there. You don't need to love dogs, but you shouldn't be afraid of them. Loving dogs is welcome! She is super cute. I have a fully furnished home, so the rental is best for someone without extensive home furnishings. The basement has minimal storage. There is a free washer and dryer in the house. There is on-street parking, and no resident sticker is currently required. The house has a backyard and two porches. There is a yard cleanup and snow removal service as needed. I provide one AC window unit and window box fan. The house is pretty comfortable year-round, with many windows, porch doors, etc., but there isn't central air. I would love to rent to someone friendly, busy, out and about, and looking for a long-term (1 year or longer) situation. Shorter stays are welcome, yet a premium may be added to the monthly fee depending on the request.
