Single-story 2.5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a tree-lined street just a brief (10-minute) walk from the University of Illinois' campus. Rent includes all utilities. The mortgage and utilities for us total over $2,100 a month. We have posted at a lower price to reflect our priorities. Specifically, we are posting in hopes of finding a thoughtful and conscientious partner in caring for our home and its garden while we travel, while also covering some small portion of the double-costs we will be assuming during our time away this summer. The house contains 2 bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bath and a second bedroom with a full sized bed. The house includes two full-sized bathrooms, including both a bathtub and walk-in shower. The home also includes a small back room that currently functions as a combined storage area/gym, including two Schwinn IC4 exercise bicycles. The house also contains a full-sized wooden deck and fenced in back yard, as well as a laundry area, private driveway and single-car garage. Given the configuration of bedrooms and beds, the house is likely to be most appropriate for a couple, or one or two single adults. Although a small family might potentially be comfortable, depending on their needs. We are requesting that the tenant water our small brood of indoor plants while we are away. Tenants also willing to take over lawn and garden care are preferred. We will need to make use of our house during the week from June 28th to July 5th. Rent will be pro-rated to account for this period. We love our house. We suspect you will too.
