Looking to rent the house for summer 2026? We will be in Canada for the summer and would love to share our house with the right family. Fully furnished with many amenities including linens, kitchen appliances and implements. Wide open house (5500 square feet) with plenty of cozy nooks for quiet retreat. Decks and sitting spots outside, pool open April - September. The house was built with family gatherings in mind. The kitchen can accommodate a cooking party with plenty of counter space, 2 ovens, and three sinks. The house's expansive windows afford a non-stop view of the Texas hill country. The main deck looks west and provides the perfect vantage point for an amazing sunset almost every night. There are three big bedrooms. Bedroom #1, the primary, has a King-size canopy bed with a cozy couple's retreat and a private deck (with that same sunset!). The ensuite has a toilet, bidet, soaking tub, two-person shower, and two sinks. Guests have ample space in the large walk-in closet. Bedroom #2 and #3 each have a Queen size bed along with a Full (Double) size bed in a loft. The lofts are accessible via a ladder from each bedroom. The lofts have a sloped roof that ranges in height from 62" to 74". Thus, the lofts are ideal for able adults or children over the age of 5. Bedrooms #2 and #3 share a large bathroom with a toilet, two sinks, and a tub with a shower. Bedrooms #2 and #3 have walk-in closets and access to the outdoor deck area. There is private apartment above the attached garage that is occupied fulltime. The access to the private apartment is via the same back entry. The tenant uses the washer / dryer once a week but they will be away for 6 weeks during the summer. Our house is located in the Texas Hill Country and sits on 2.5 acres. Yet, we are only 11 miles from the hustle bustle of Austin City Center. There are many great restaurants and grocery stores close by. Our neighborhood features walkable streets and big open sky at night. The Texas Hill Country (accessed via highways 71 and 290) is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, boasting numerous state parks and natural areas (Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Lost Maples State Natural Area) as well as many water activities (the Highland Lakes, Hamilton Pool Preserve, Blue Hole, and tubing down the Guadalupe River).
