Our home is located in UCSB's Ocean Walk (faculty housing) neighborhood and perfect for incoming or visiting faculty or a professional tenant. This is a quiet neighborhood that is ideal for families. We live directly across the street from a trailhead that leads to a nearby secluded beach and miles of gorgeous open space trails perfect for walking, running, biking, and birdwatching. There is also access to the HOA pool, hot tub, and gym, which are only a short walk from the house. The second floor includes a master bedroom furnished with a king-sized bed, two dressers, walk in closet, and ensuite bathroom. The kids' bedroom includes two twin beds, a desk and dresser, nearby bathroom. The office includes a mid-century desk, bookshelves, and a couch that can be converted to a twin-sized bed for guests. Alternatively the office could be set up as a bedroom. The first floor has a half bath, open plan kitchen-dining area and living room with small desk and mid-century piano. The garage fits one car, and the driveway fits two cars. The backyard is spacious with a turf lawn, outdoor lounging and dining furniture, outdoor heater, a gas grill, two built in kids swings, planter boxes with citrus trees and space for gardening. Monthly house cleanings by our trusted cleaning company are included and required. Utilities are also included (wifi, water, gas, electricity, garbage/recycling). We require two references and a security deposit. The house is located close to UCSB and would be especially ideal for visiting faculty or incoming faculty members. We are very fortunate to have excellent neighborhood public schools: Isla Vista Elementary, Goleta Valley Middle School, Dos Pueblos High School. Nearby stores include Albertsons, Target, Costco, Home Depot, Home Goods, as well as many fantastic local restaurants (SB Fish Market, Los Agaves, Ca'Dario, Yetz' Bagels, Rory's Ice Cream, Dune Coffee). There is a large park blocks away with soccer, basketball, and baseball fields. We also have an ice skating rink and movie theater nearby. Not to mention an incredible Sunday Farmers Market! All are walking/biking distance or a short drive. A floor plan is linked below. Note that the house is a four bedroom home, however we are not renting the third floor (fourth bedroom). Also note, the floor plan is reversed from the layout of our home. We are open to considering pets. We cannot rent to smokers.
