Welcome to our home — a warm, light-filled retreat tucked away on a quiet Medford street, where you get the best of both worlds. Step outside and you are close to everything; step inside and you feel embraced by trees, nature, and calm. What guests love most: Our sunroom is the heart of the home with huge windows, sweeping treetop views, and on a clear day, the Boston skyline and a cozy fireplace for cooler months. It is the kind of space that makes you want to linger over your morning coffee and watch the birds sweep by. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom and huge floor to ceiling closets. Wright’s Pond is a 15-minute walk in the warm months, and 93 is down the hill for easy travel in any direction. We are 1 mile from Tufts and close to most major universities by T or car. The Malden T station is a 9-minute bike ride, and Wellington is 16 minutes by bike. Restaurants and bars are nearby, but you would never know it from the quiet of our street. To make your stay easier, we are happy to share our car and e-bike with the right person — those bike commute times are very shorter with the e-bike. A few things to know: We are upfront that this is a lived-in, loved home — not a hotel. It is cozy and personal, and we think that is its charm, but it may not suit someone looking for a minimalist or brand-new space. We have two cats who will stay with a friend for the duration of your stay. That said, if you are an animal lover, we are open to negotiating a reduced rate for a guest willing to care for them while we are away. Flexibility: We are ideally looking for one guest for the full duration of our listing, but we are flexible on length of stay and can work with you on timing.
