Imagine starting your morning watching ferries and sailboats traverse Puget Sound, spending an afternoon strolling to the beach or the park, and returning to a calm, private retreat that feels like home. Housemates could easily share this unit, given that it has two bathroom and two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, office chair, and desk. We want to set honest expectations: as an accessory dwelling unit beneath our home, there may occasionally be some footfall noise from above, though the unit has been well insulated to minimize this. We observe quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. to preserve the peaceful atmosphere that makes this such a special place to live. We strive to make this home welcoming for people with chemical sensitivities and allergies. Smoking is not permitted on the property. We kindly ask that tenants refrain from using artificial fragrance, room deodorizers, and incense. No pets are allowed. In Seattle we separate our trash, recycling, and compost. Bins are nearby but out of sight behind the carport wall. Start and end dates are flexible, with a minimum stay of six months. Stays longer than one year are possible.
