We are a family planning to be away on sabbatical and are looking for a responsible tenant or household to enjoy and care for our home while we are gone. Our home is located at 281 Peddlers Road in Guilford, Connecticut, and will be available for a fixed-term lease from approximately September 28, 2026 through May 15, 2027 (with a small amount of flexibility on either end as our travel schedule is finalized). We are looking for one tenant or household for the full lease term only. This is our personal home—not an investment property—and we are hoping to find someone who will appreciate it as much as we do. It is a fully furnished, 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath contemporary post-and-beam home set on 1.87 private, fenced acres on a quiet street. The house is filled with natural light and has a warm, peaceful feel that makes it especially well suited for someone looking for a comfortable, high-quality temporary home. The layout works especially well for a sabbatical, remote work, or temporary academic/professional stay.
