The location is phantastic, the house is light, as some rooms have two to three windows, and its layout is convincing due to its simplicity. In the first floor, the rooms have original pine wooden flooring, and on the ground floor newly fitted laminated oak. All four rooms are spacious. 4x 12 m2, and Kitchen and bathroom, are reasonably spacious: ca 3x2 m2. The kitchen has kitchen table with fitting antique chairs and the three whites of gas cooker/stove, fridge and washing maschine, as well as basic shelving and cupboards, the bath room is newly refurbished, and has a Victorian dresser. One room is caught between stair case and bathroom, it has ample shelving, and can easily be made into a study for two. The house is currently minimally furnished, and the purchase of new further furnishing it can be negotiated with the land lady. This house is ideal for visiting scholars, has ample book shelving, and some shelving space is already occupied by basic must-reads of the history of East Asian sciences. There is a secluded patio, with few flower pots, and a shed for parking two bikes.
