The apartment is north facing, with beautiful light and very close to the beach. When friends or family visit they always tell me how at home they feel. It's a relaxing space. The apartment sits high on a hill, amongst the trees, and despite being in a popular part of town, is quiet. It is decorated with bright furniture and largely Indigenous art, from all around Australia. I love my home, and hope guests find it peaceful. It is 3 bedroom, but 1 room is used as an office space. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds. It is most suitable for a couple or single looking for a relaxing and comfortable home. The 2nd bedroom is suitable for an older child. A primary school is close by and a selective high school. It is on the 3rd floor and is a walk-up. It is a block of 12 apartments, so not a large building. But it is an older block - circa 1975. My apartment is well maintained and loved, but it is older style. It has large windows, which provide light and a sense of openness. The living room has great views of the escarpment and trees. It opens to a narrow balcony, with a large sliding door. This gives the living room a feeling of space and light. It's a reasonable size but not big. The kitchen has everything you need but is not fancy. It was a galley kitchen, which I renovated and opened up, and put in a breakfast bench. The washing machine is in the kitchen. There is a small washing line on the balcony and larger washing line down-stairs in the common area. There is only 1 bathroom and toilet. The bathroom is relatively small. But is bright, clean and very functional. I provide all of the sheets, towels etc. The main bedroom has built-in wardrobe, which I will clear out. Guests will have plenty of room for their clothes. The 2nd bedroom doesn't have built-in ropes. It has a portable hanger. The office space has a built-in robe and if you needed the space, let me know. My office is fairly simple: a long desk, and book shelves (if you needed some book space, let me know). It has a big window, which I enjoy. I'm in Europe for 7 weeks, however, if you are interested in a shorter stay, please get in contact. The apartment has a locked key box, where I'll leave the key for guests. I would be contactable on What's app. should you have any questions. I would want guests to water the plants (once a week) and in general keep the flat clean and tidy. You are welcome to have guests over, but please no parties. Or rather nothing that is too noisy. My neighbours are friendly and quiet. Most people keep to themselves, just saying hello. But they would certainly help you out if needed. I would let them know I have guests. Wollongong is only 90mins by train to Sydney. Easy commute or day-trip. The south-coast of NSW is very beautiful: beach and bush. There are many local places I can recommend, and also further afield.
