My husband and I are long-time New York City public school teachers who have been approved for a study sabbatical. We’re excited to take this opportunity to spend a semester living abroad with our daughters, and we’re looking for someone who would enjoy making our home their base in New York City during that time. We care a lot about our home and our neighborhood, and we’re hoping to find a great match—someone who will feel comfortable here and treat the space with the same care and respect. Our apartment works well for a family, a couple, or an individual who is coming to NYC for a semester, research stay, visiting position, or other temporary opportunity. Ideally, we’re looking for a stay of about 4–5 months during the fall semester, though there is some flexibility with the exact timing, especially toward the end of the stay. We’re happy to communicate and coordinate to make the arrangement work smoothly. We love living here: being close to the park, cultural institutions, and a lively neighborhood with everything nearby makes day-to-day life easy and enjoyable. We hope to find someone who will appreciate the same things while they’re in the city.
