We are looking for academics attending conferences or on sabbatical. We have a beautiful new light space with air-conditioning and parking. Cleaning is included. It consists of a bedroom, living room and bathroom. There are South facing French doors in the bedroom and living room with views over tree tops and the air conditioning in both rooms is very useful as we seem to be getting more extreme weather - 33 degrees C in Oxford today! There are dimmable spot lights and dimmable side lights in all three rooms with multiple switches for easy access. There is high speed Internet and TV. The bathroom has an electric shower, basin, toilet, washing machine and large sky light window. The long room has South facing French doors and two sky light windows at the other end of the room, air conditioning, sofa, TV, bookcase, table and chairs, storage, basin, hotel fridge, kettle, coffee maker and hair dryer. The bedroom has air conditioning, South facing French doors, a double bed, two bedside tables, with drawers and a wardrobe with drawers under. Egyptian cotton bedding and towels with laundry, cleaning and utilities included. Toiletries are also included. Ironing of your clothes may be included if straightforward. Additional facilities may also be used in the main house. In addition to the regular bus services straight down Banbury Road into central Oxford, the location is great for both strolling into Summertown to enjoy the wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars as well as taking a train to London to see the various sites. It is also accessible to Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds. This is a beautifully decorated, comfortable and peaceful space which facilitates a stay combining academic as well as cultural interest.
