Beautiful home with garden patio in walkable Beacon (Hudson Valley)!

Description

Our beautiful, light-filled home is full of hardwood floors, books, and art. It can be set up for children (we have a crib and toddler bed available) or adults only. The house technically has four bedrooms (currently set up as a master bedroom with queen bed, a guest room with full bed, a child's room with a toddler bed, and an office) as well as a living room, dining room, kitchen, and large downstairs den with a home theater / movie projector setup, a home gym set up (free weights, bench, squat rack, row machine), and laundry room. There are ductless a/c units (mini-splits) throughout the house. There is a massive garden with a patio (ft retractable shades) and an eden of native flowers, herbs (help yourself), and trees, as well as irrigated vegetable beds -- it is just gorgeous in the summer and guests always want a tour. Street parking is plentiful, but you're welcome to use the attached garage (with EV charger) or any of our bikes (including our tandem bike -- a fun way to get around town)! Beacon is a summer getaway destination in the beautiful Hudson Valley, where many New Yorkers plan weddings, vacations, and more. It was recently voted the "coolest small town" in America! The home is a two minute walk to Beacon's Main Street, a mile-long walkable stretch of coffeeshops, bookstores, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, multiple artisanal donut shops, restaurants (Tibetan, Thai, French, Japanese, Turkish, Palestinian, Indian, British, Mexican), music venues, and more! It is very lively with many events every weekend, including a Farmers Market (consistently voted the best farmers market in the Hudson Valley), music shows, and various summer festivals (strawberry festival, peach festival, folk music festival, outdoor movies, etc.) The town also includes Dia Beacon (contemporary art museum), Mount Beacon (hiking right off Main Street), trails and parks along the Hudson River, and the MetroNorth train taking commuters to New York City (a pleasant 85-minute ride along the Hudson).
