The first bedroom/shower room (available for rent) is on the ground floor with a separate toilet and sink. The living room is also on the front floor at the front of the house and acts as the owner’s private-space, downstairs there is a large communal kitchen diner and the second bedroom where the landlords sleep. This also leads onto a small outdoor courtyard. The kitchen is fully furnished with designated storage spaces for tenants. The bedroom has a single bed that pulls out into a double, clothes storage. Additional electrics may be available if needed e.g. tv The flat is a 15-minute walk from Clapham Junction (National Rail and Overground) and Clapham Common (Northern line) with a good bus network. Clapham Junction is a gateway to the rest of the UK as one of the country's largest train stations. You’ll be spoilt for choice when you stay at our home. We are minutes from a high street of independent shops, bakeries and restaurants, and moments away from the nearest park. There’s a wide range of supermarkets too, so if you need to do your groceries there’s a full range available to you. You’ll find it hard to be bored in Clapham, with a wide-range of pubs, gyms and coffee shops. Clapham truly has a villagy feel while being in zone 2 of London. You’ll instantly feel part of a community with opportunities to take part in lots of activities. There’s a choice of theatres and local institution, Battersea Arts centre, is just minutes away. The historic Battersea Power Station (now a fantastic shopping centre) is a 20 minute walk or 8 min bus ride away. We are a married couple Alex (39) and Jake (35), who have been together over a decade, both London born working as professionals in communications and the arts. Jake currently works at home 4 days a week and is often busy with meetings. Alex works in London four days a week during standard hours. We are looking for someone who is a considerate, tidy and friendly professional to share our apartment with.
