Fully equipped cook's kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, walk-in shower, bonus room for mini-office or storage. 50" smart TV. Bright open space with loads of windows overlooking serene neighborhood with mature hardwoods and white picket fences. 2nd TV in BR, Casper King facing east, bird-feeder to gently usher in your morning. All utilities provided including fiber, wifi, some streaming services. Lovely 5-10 minute stroll to supermarket, restaurants, gym, salon, bank, pharmacy, etc. UNC 10 min, Duke/RTP 20 min, Raleigh NC State 30 min, Jordan Lake within shouting distance. Community green spaces and walking paths, pool, tennis, pickel/volleyball. Neighborhood is 25 years old, just south of Chapel Hill. Primarily single-family homes, also includes townhomes which are mostly owner occupied. Residents are academic/professional/retired with a nice mix of seniors, families, grad students. Reviews are slim as most recent guests arrived for one month and remained for more than two years. Additional references available. Host is widowed senior gay male who carefully guards his good relationship with neighbors, sensitive to outdoor noise/activity which might disturb the peace. He typically travels 6-8 weeks in summer and 6-8 weeks in winter. Resident 5-year-0ld mini Labradoodle is eagerly available for petting, walks, welcome-homes, farewells. Offical policy is no additinal pets, but this might be flexible in some circumstances. Apartment is completely separate from host's residence and was designed with robust sound barrier, but still, host/guests are sharing one home...so compatibility is essential. $250 cleaning fee waived for stays >3 mo, additional 10% discount > 12 mo.
