Perfect as a summer writing getaway, complete with multiple workspaces. Forty-five minutes from downtown Manhattan. Walking distance to multiple green spaces including native forest: New York Botanical Garden, Van Cortlandt Park, Mosholu Parkway, and Bronx River Park. Grocery shopping and neighborhood stores very close. Apartment located on the first/ground floor. Fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, French press, greca, plus laundromat in the building). Vacuum cleaner, broom, and mop. Air conditioning and a fan available. The apartment also remains relatively cool during the summer due to shade from the bamboo grove in the back alley. Terms of rental are $1000 per every two weeks (plus refundable deposit depending on length of stay, max $500), negotiable with longer stays. Heat, water, and electricity included. Full payment is required in advance, except for longer stays. Renter will be asked to sign a simple contract. Dates flexible depending on renter needs.
