We are husband-and-wife healers in an ancient tradition from Central Mexico. We're looking for a family or individual(s) who are quiet, considerate, and who enjoy these Appalachian mountains as much as we do! This is a true immersion into nature, but only 15 minutes from downtown Weaverville, with all its shops, restaurants and galleries, and 25 minutes to the arts, creativity, entertainment and healing mecca of Asheville, NC. About Asheville area: People flock to Asheville and Weaverville, NC for the breathtaking mountain scenery, hiking, biking, paddle-sports/whitewater rafting, skiing, Biltmore House castle, art, healing and entertainment scene. Many beautiful places to explore, with our cabin perfectly positioned as your basecamp: near the Blue Ridge Parkway, close to many trails and also the social fun of the town and city. Room details Rent this entire 3BR/2BA secluded quaint and comfy log cabin at the mountain heights! Leave your cares behind. Immerse in Nature to reboot, recover and transform. This cabin is your private haven. First floor: kitchen, living room, laundry, master bed and bath. Hardwood floors. slate-tile bathroom. Second floor: 2 queen bedrooms, central office with ample bookshelves, low-pile easy maintenance carpet Private (occasionally shared) use of outdoor common spaces and huge decks, yards and walking driveway. Multiple parking spots. Steep paved mountain road. **Usually, you will have the whole cabin to yourself. Note that occasionally, the main floor is used for programs, ending before 9 pm. Joining us is entirely optional, but there will be a bit of space-sharing during gatherings.** THE SPACE Three bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen, upstairs office. Comfy and private log cabin. Each bedroom furnished with a queen bed with quality new mattress, private slate-tiled full bathroom (upstairs with bath/shower, downstairs shower). The big kitchen with huge counter space comes equipped with what you need, including standard stove/oven, toaster oven/air fryer, Vita-Mix blender, fridge with freezer, plates, silverware, bowls, cups, cookware and serving ware. The dining table can be used in the kitchen or moved to the living room to dine in view of forest/mountains. In winter, light a warm wood stove fire. This is entirely optional: new HVAC mini-split heat/cool system keeps you comfy. **Use of the woodstove is $100/month extra charge. A load of firewood and instructions will be provided. Please make this request when you rent.** Bedrooms: queen bed, quality linens, ample sunlight, blackout curtains, big closets. Sleep well, nestled in the lush forest. SHARED SPACES The large decks to south and west and ample comfy outdoor chairs/couches ensure you'll want to spend time outside feeling the breeze as you view birds and wildlife. Occasional (monthly) talk by traditional healers in the west yard, so the outside area is shared at times. 4 month lease/renew. Very private, wooded, quiet location. Use of hiking trails can be discussed with owners. Projector with Netflix and big screen in cabin for use in living room. This rustic cabin's kitchen is well-equipped. Yes we have vita-mix food processor, blender and high-end toaster oven/air fryer as well as standard oven and new fridge. However, no microwave or dishwasher.
