Room details Rent this furnished queen room on the main floor at a secluded quaint and comfy log cabin at the mountain heights! Leave your cares behind. Immerse in Nature to reboot, recover and transform. This cabin is your private haven at Asheville Healing Retreat. First floor bedroom with hardwood floors. and full slate-tiled bath with shower. Use of common spaces and huge decks, yards and walking driveway are all yours, only sometimes shared with others. Multiple parking spots. Paved mountain road. This is a log cabin on a forested mountain north of Asheville. **You will often have the whole cabin to yourself.** The healers/landlords live next-door. Healing patients and vetted out-of-town guests occasionally stay in the two bedrooms on the floor above this room and will share the common areas. THE SPACE This is one of the three bedrooms of this comfy and private log cabin. It is furnished with a comfortable queen bed with custom mattress, new hardwood floors, and private slate-tiled full bathroom with shower across the hall. SHARED SPACES On the same floor (first floor), the big, full kitchen with huge counter space comes equipped with what you need, including standard stove/oven, toaster oven/air fryer, Vita-Mix blender, fridge with freezer, plates, silverware, bowls, cups, cookware and serving ware. *Note that occasionally, the main floor is used for programs, ending before 9 pm.* The dining table can be used in the kitchen or moved to the living room to dine in front of the forest/mountain view or, in winter, to light a warm woodstove fire. **Use of the woodstove is $100/month extra charge. A load of firewood and instructions will be provided. Please make this request when you rent this room.** This bedroom contains a queen bed and luminous light from west and south windows and big double closet. Sleep well, nestled in the lush forest under quality bed-linens, protected by our linen blackout curtains. This bedroom has the use of a slate-tiled full bath with shower,. The large decks to south and west ensure you'll want to spend time outside with birds and wildlife. New HVAC mini-split heat/cool. 4 month lease/renew. Very private, wooded, quiet location. Use of hiking trails can be discussed with owners. Healing patients from out of town or other quiet guests will sometimes use the two bedrooms on the second floor. Occasional traditional healing talks and programs are offered at the cabin, and you are welcome to attend! Your bathroom may be used during programs, so it will need to be clean and tidy on those days. Tenant is required to dispose of their own garbage (easy drop-off). Tenant needs to keep cabin areas of use clean and organized, especially common areas. No strong scents, as healing patients with allergies will use other rooms occasionally. Projector with Netflix and big screen in cabin for use in shared living room. This rustic cabin's kitchen is well-equipped. Yes we have vita-mix and high-end toaster oven as well as new fridge and standard oven. However, no microwave or dishwasher.
