This is a 1000 sq ft ground floor apartment in the small historic village of Norfolk CT. The recently renovated apartment is designed to be a quiet space for visitors who would like a comfortable, distraction free space to complete their projects & enjoy direct access to the small garden. We are located in the center of Norfolk surrounded by 3 conserved forests, walking trails and central amenities like the beautiful Norfolk Library built in 1888, a post office, bank, liquor store, deli, book store, and a cafe featuring home-baked goods and breakfast. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. It is a very short walk to the Botelle Estate and the Music Shed where The Yale Summer Chamber Music and Arts Festival offers several public concerts per week featuring world renown artists and performances by the Yale Music Fellows Program. This has always been a pet-free apartment, much care is given to helping those with allergies. It has one large bedroom with a queen sized bed, a piano, and a non-working fireplace. The living room and the dining room are both equipped to serve as work study spaces as well as for leisure. AC and heat are included. Upstairs is the owner's apartment and one poodle-mix dog (the dog has never entered the downstairs apartment!) Near by also is Toby Pond for residents of Norfolk. It is a one mile walk. The owner can drive you to the grocery stores that are about 7 miles away. Litchfield County located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains has much to offer!
