This is an invitation to live in a special forest retreat while enjoying easy access to Silicon Valley's center. THE SPACE The home is a beautifully designed craftsman style three-level residence nestled in the forest. You'll have exclusive access to 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (one featuring a large soaking tub), a fully stocked kitchen, dining area, living room, cozy reading nook. The first floor offers glorious panoramic forest views, bringing the beauty of the redwoods right into your indoor daily life. I primarily live and work in my ADU on the upper portion of the 2+ acre land, so the main house is yours to enjoy in privacy. The laundry room has its own separate entrance, which I access once weekly at a time that works for you—that's the extent of any overlap. THE SETTING Wake to panoramic forest views, bird song and creek sounds with immediate access to 6,000 acres of open space. The forest provides natural cooling year-round—especially wonderful in summer months. Yet you're just 15 minutes from the Pacific Ocean, 20 minutes from Stanford Campus, and 30 minutes from downtown Palo Alto. ABOUT ME I live in my ADU located about an acre away from main house at the top of the land, where I spend most days working remotely or in garden. I deeply value this land's peaceful nature and am committed to maintaining its serene environment and offering my guests peace and privacy WHO THRIVES HERE The ideal guest respects the natural environment, values peace and quiet, maintains high integrity, and finds inspiration in the natural world. This works beautifully for visiting academics, researchers, writers, or professionals on sabbatical seeking a contemplative environment. Past guests include writers working on manuscripts, Stanford lecturers, and professionals on extended assignments. PRACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS The home operates on a septic system and water pumped from creek through an advanced filtration system—both well-maintained and trouble-free. I just ask that you please report any issues or concerns promptly so I can address them quickly.
