Charming and recently renovated central Parisian apartment

Description

The apartment was recently renovated while still retaining the original feel of the architecture. It has 10 ft ceilings with wooden beams, stone and brick walls. The bedroom is spacious with a study area with a queen size bed. The bathroom was recently renovated with a washer/dryer. The living room with an open kitchen has a fold out double size couch. The apartment feels more like a small maisonette and faces a large courtyard but is has lots of light. It is extremely quiet all day, despite the activity on the nearby streets of Avenue de la Republic, rue Oberkampf and Avenue Parmentier which cross one another right in front of the building but our apartment is in the back and does not face these streets. It is completely silent in the courtyard. It is in a great neighborhood right next to Parmentier metro station. It is 10 minutes walking distance to the Marais with all the galleries and shops. You can get to the Louvre, Gare d'Orsay in 15 minutes on the metro. Many fantastic food shops one minute from the apartment as well as a twice weekly open air food market with amazing produce is just 10 minutes away. Pere Lachaise is a 25 minute walk or 10 minute metro ride. This part of the 11th arrondissment called Popincourt still has an authentic Parisian feel as it's not full of tourists. It is still mostly local people with many great restaurants and great natural wine stores.
