We are a professor + actor/commercial director family of 3 looking for warm, friendly tenants to be our neighbors on our shared property. The bungalow is a free-standing home on a quiet, secure property in Silver Lake, a fabulous neighborhood. Close to USC, Caltech, The Huntington Library, SciArc, CalArts, Occidental, Downtown LA Music Center and arts, easy to reach UCLA, Hollywood, LACMA and more. Elevated off and back from the street, the hardwood floors and afternoon sun make for a zen, relaxing, airy and peaceful living room with plenty of light. French doors in back open to a private patio and yard shaded by a glorious Chinese elm. The patio is perfect for morning coffee, breakfast, or work outdoors. It's an excellent space for writers. (Patio includes outdoor table and chairs, not pictured in photo.) The bungalow is fully furnished and will comfortably accommodate one-two people. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed, dresser, and closet. The second bedroom has a twin day bed (with trundle for occasional guest), a desk, and closet. The living room has a beautiful, wide, extra-long couch, TV, dining table / work area. The outdoor back patio has a full-sized table that seats up to 6, and an outdoor BBQ. The kitchen is fully equipped including a full-size refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric tea kettle, blender, and microwave. The bathroom has a full-sized bathtub. The bungalow is fully air conditioned with window units. Wi-Fi service is provided. TV subscription services not included. The bungalow is situated on a large, quiet, secure, off-street property in a quiet residential neighborhood, offering privacy and peace for work. The property has a gated entrance and redwood fence for privacy and security, as well as security cameras throughout the property. There is parking available for one car in the driveway in front of garages. Street parking and street cleaning rules must be observed at tenant's own risk. Unfortunately we cannot have pets. The rent is $900/week $3400/month, including utilities and internet, plus a security deposit to be negotiated depending on length of stay. We provide thorough monthly cleaning service, at an additional fee of $150/month. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss all rental fees.
