Kid friendly fully stocked 4 bed + office, close to schools and downtown

We are an academic couple renting our home while we are in California for sabbatical in the 2026- 2027 school year. Exact move in and move out dates are flexible and we are willing to consider shorter term rentals. Our house is well suited for families with kids as we are located in an extremely kid friendly neighborhood with walkable schools (1 block to elementary school, 3 blocks to middle school, 1 mile to high school). The second floor contains 3 bedrooms (primary and 2 kids rooms) and a huge office with workout gym equipment. The first floor contains a 4th bedroom (great for visitors) as well as a family room, dining room, living room with piano, large kitchen, playroom and dedicated mudroom. We have basement storage for bikes and outdoor equipment as well as a long driveway that can accommodate 2 or more cars. We have solar panels that cover most electricity costs across the year. We also have a screened in porch and back patio with a large enclosed back yard. This home is well stocked with everything you need because it is our permanent residence. Thus, unlike other rentals who may have kitchens that are barely functional, we have everything you could need for a comfortable stay including coffee machine, toaster oven, table settings for 12+, lots of pots and pans, etc. Depending on the tenant we can also provide a playroom full of toys (or we will remove the toys and you will have a second office space if the toys are not of use). Cats/Dogs are not allowed due to allergies in the home.
