Description
Hang out in fun and friendly Petworth. A five-minute walk takes you to Rue Café for coffee, Safeway or Organic Yes! for groceries. We are practically across the street from Rock Creek Park, a National Park with trails for hiking and biking – the National Zoo is a short bike ride away. For dinner choose from neighborhood Mexican, Vietnamese, Salvadoran, Laotian, Ethiopian or “fancy” southern fried chicken. Access the best of DC’s sights via the nearby Petworth Metro, the 14th street bus, or hop on an e-bike stationed on our block. When you return home, play table tennis, go back in time with our “Class of 1981” Galaga/Ms Pacman arcade game (no quarters required) or fast forward with Gig speed internet. Spacious and clean lower-level apartment in our house has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a Queen size sofa bed, full size washer/dryer, a fully stocked kitchen (with coffee, of course) and a private entrance.
