This fully equipped two-bedroom suite is your home away from home with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Located near beautiful parks with ocean access in a welcoming neighbouhood, this suite is perfectly located for a focused retreat or relaxing getaway while also enjoying the best of Vancouver. We’re a family of four—two adults and two elementary-school-aged kids—who are excited to offer our self-contained garden suite to guests who appreciate a well-loved home and a vibrant city. We work in the cultural and public sectors and are well connected to our neighbourhood and to Vancouver as a whole, which helps us be thoughtful, responsive hosts with great local insight. After living in different cities and small towns in Canada, the US, and across the Atlantic, we chose Vancouver as home and truly love it here. We enjoy welcoming likeminded individuals or families, whether you’re seeking complete privacy or would appreciate a friendly neighbour happy to share local tips, favourite spots, and practical advice for getting around. Our house sits on a busy street, which makes for excellent transit access and easy connections across the city—but it can be a bit noisy at times. The home was originally built in 1929, so it comes with the charm (and quirks) of an older house, including the occasional creak. That said, the garden suite has been recently renovated and thoughtfully updated with modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and easy. The suite also includes a separate home office with its own entrance—an ideal, quiet, and secluded space to work, study, or simply enjoy some uninterrupted time. It even has a fireplace, making it a warm and comfortable retreat year-round.
