Our charming, fully furnished house is located in a tree-filled residential neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and UAB – perfect for a family, university faculty and/or graduate students. We are hoping to connect with someone looking for a home for the late summer and/or fall of 2026. The house has hardwood floors throughout, an open concept kitchen, dining, and living space, and lots of natural light. There are three bedrooms: one master with a queen bed, ensuite bathroom, and walk-in closet; one bedroom with a queen bed, and small desk; and one bedroom that is currently set up as a nursery, but could also be used as an office or studio. There is fast, reliable fiber internet, making the house an easy place to work from home. Located in Irondale, the house is perfect for anyone who wants easy access to downtown while being able to return home to a peaceful, walkable neighborhood with little traffic. The house is an 11-minute drive from UAB and a 6-minute drive from the airport. It’s a 10 min walk from Ruffner mountain, with over 1,000 acres of oak, hickory, and pine tree forest and 11 miles of hiking trails. It’s also a 10 min walk from the historic Irondale Café and Irondale City Hall, which hosts local events like Halloween Festivals and Weekly Farmers markets. There is a large, fenced-in backyard with a garden, patio, firepit, and plenty of trees. Our living room has a Roku TV and a weighted keyboard for anyone who plays (or wants to learn to play) the piano. We also have a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
