Welcome to our lovely Edwardian home in one of Melbourne’s most charming pockets. We are right on the edge of the city and next to a huge stretch of bushland, so you get the perfect mix of nature and convenience. A popular cafe is 100m from the doorstep. Playgrounds, shops and public transport are all an easy stroll away. Trains go straight into the city, or you can ride there in about 25 minutes. A major cycling path runs close by, and a great gym and swimming pool complex is only a short walk or ride from the house. The neighbourhood is full of beautifully preserved heritage homes and friendly families. Walk to vibrant Collingwood, Fitzroy in 15 minutes. Inside, you will find 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small studio/office. There is a light filled, contemporary open living space at the back of the house, cosy period features at the front, and a peaceful garden to unwind in. We love the natural light, the quiet leafy surroundings, and how easy it is to get around without a car. Coffee machine and all the usual amenities are inside. Note: there is a small self contained studio along the side of the house that is rented to a friend. They have their own separate entrance and you may occasionally see them coming or going. If this arrangement makes you uncomfortable, we can frost the side windows for additional privacy. Otherwise, the whole house and backyard are yours to enjoy.
