Description

Ours is a charming (so we think!) one-bed split-level flat, with a separate office + futon. The flat has a roof terrace and a shared garden. The place is suitable for a single adult or a couple. We will be away 11 July - 14 August 2026; we're happy to rent the flat for a whole or part of that time, though only to one booking. We're also open to negotiation about dates / extension. We're looking to let to a responsible graduate student and/or academic. This is our first time letting the flat, so we're keen to have clear communication so that we all have a good experience. The flat is well located for quick connections into central London (I work at UCL), while being far enough outside the bustle to have a sense of its own space. We really enjoy the area: Ealing is filled with great restaurants, cafes, a Picturehouse cinema, gyms, shopping, etc. As mentioned, the flat can get quite warm in summer if the outside temperature tips over 30-31C. We do have fans, windows, and a portable AC unit, but the flat would not be suitable for someone who likes/needs colder temperatures.

Comments: Ours is one of seven flats in a converted Victorian house. Please be respectful of the neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum. The roof terrace is charming in the summer, but please no more than two people at a time on the terrace.

Comments: We are on the top floor of a converted Victorian house. There are 1.5-2 flights of stairs. In the summer the flat can become warm: we have a portable AC unit, though it's quite noisy and does not cool the whole flat. (We do have fans.)
