Our extremely energy-efficient home offers comfort, space, and relaxing views from every window. Enjoy colorful sunsets in the crisp winter air or the fragrance of budding trees in springtime. Both bedrooms are upstairs — one with a queen-size bed and an air conditioner, and the other with a queen-size bed plus a single bed in a separate nook. The office, located downstairs, includes a double bed that can be used as an extra sleeping space or guest room, ideal for larger families or up to three couples during shorter stays. The home features a full bathroom upstairs and a half bathroom downstairs for convenience. The washer and dryer are located in the basement, where there is also space to dry laundry on a rack. The house is fully furnished, featuring two dedicated workspaces — one in the office and another in the dining room — making it perfect for working from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator, stove, spacious pantry, and complete cookware and utensils. Sheets, towels, bedding, and hand towels may be provided for shorter stays if needed. A propane stove in the living room adds extra warmth and coziness in winter, and a Roku TV is available for your Netflix or Tubi accounts. Step outside to the front patio, where you can relax and enjoy a fire in the chiminea under the stars. During warmer months, explore the many lakes, ponds, and hiking trails nearby for swimming, kayaking, and peaceful nature walks. You’ll be close to Farmington, home to the University of Maine at Farmington, the Better Living Center (BLC), Narrow Gauge Cinemas, and Kineowatha Park (Wilton), a wonderful spot for families. Shopping and services are conveniently located in Farmington and Augusta, while Portland and Freeport are just a pleasant drive away. Outside, a carport keeps your vehicle sheltered from the snow, and high-speed internet is included.
