Description
I have a PhD and spent several years at UCLA before moving back home to the Bay Area. While I’m no longer in academia, I still love staying connected to that world. I live on-site in the primary bedroom with my sweet, very social dog. My co-owner and I rent out the other three rooms in the house to mid-term tenants (typically 1–6 months). You’ll have your own private room and plenty of shared indoor and outdoor spaces to relax or connect with housemates and friends. This is a great landing spot for visiting scholars, fellows, or new grad students at Cal. We’ve hosted visiting professors and graduate students alike, and we’re always happy to offer local recommendations or help troubleshoot transit and neighborhood tips!

Comments: Our home is the rare Victorian with huge windows and a large yard with mature oak and redwood trees. You'll have your own private bedroom with access to two shared bathrooms, backyard, a large kitchen, and the sun-filled living room.
