If you enjoy nature, and being close to the city, we are surrounded by the Sligo creek area (on our doorstep), and all that Washington DC offers (just a nearby Takoma metro ride away). We live in the city of Takoma Park MD, bordering the north end of Washington DC, which offers a vibrant community with a progressive, artsy vibe, featuring a bustling downtown with diverse shops and restaurants, a popular year-round farmers market, public parks and trails, and a wide range of arts and cultural events. Residents and visitors can enjoy local dining, shopping, wellness services, and recreational activities, all within easy access to Washington, D.C. Our house has 3 levels and we are offering our self contained basement apartment which has private access for your privacy and street parking (free and plentiful). The apartment is fully furnished and comes complete with crockery and cookware. It is just missing your suitcases with your books and other personal effects. We have a small dog and an 8 year old boy so we are looking for someone or a couple who will be tolerant of noises they might make sometimes. We hope that you will be respectful of our property and need for a peaceful home setting.
