I’m an academic in the arts and humanities looking for a new housemate to join our lovely three-bedroom maisonette in a quiet, leafy part of North London. The house has a sunny, south-facing living room that opens onto a private garden (with a large shed for extra storage), and a spacious, modern kitchen. On the first floor, there are two single/small double rooms (one for you and the other for another Sabbaticalhomes lodger), a double room (myself), and a shared bathroom and separate toilet. You’re also very welcome to work or relax in the shared living area. You’ll be sharing the house with a fluffy kitten and me. I am sociable, tidy, and friendly, but I also value having our own space. We’re in a fantastic location — just 5-minute walk to Archway Station (Northern Line, Zone 2) and 7 minutes to Upper Holloway Overground. Central London universities such as UCL, KCL, SOAS, LSE, and Central Saint Martins are all within 30 minutes. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful green spaces like Waterlow Park, Highgate, and Hampstead Heath, along with plenty of gyms, cafés, pubs, and shops within easy walking distance.
