Our much-loved family home in East Oxford has a fully equipped kitchen, open plan living area, three bedrooms, a recently renovated bathroom, and a lovely, well-kept private garden with seating area. Ground Floor: The open plan living area has a smart TV, a large, comfortable chesterfield sofa and two leather armchairs, a piano, coffee tables, and a dining table that seats four (six if you use the piano stool as additional seating). The kitchen is in good order and has a De'Longhi bean to cup coffee machine, fridge freezer, gas hob, and electric oven. In the hallway is a toilet and a washer-dryer. There is a shoe cupboard and hanging area for coats. First floor: The master bedroom contains a comfortable double bed with a hybrid foam/spring mattress, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, two built-in wardrobes, and a bay window overlooking the front garden. The second bedroom overlooks the private garden and contains a single bed, a chest of drawers, and a large bookcase with many children's books and some toys. The third bedroom contains one single bed, which can extend to a double when pulled out, a bedside table and a workstation. The bathroom is modern and recently renovated, with an overhead shower and full-sized bath. The area: Florence Park is a peaceful, residential area, with a family-friendly pub and access to many shops. The beautiful park at the end of the road has a great cafe, tennis courts (book at https://tennisoxfordshire.com/book/courts/florence-park), trapeze in the summer, three children’s play areas, and a community garden. You can get to the city centre and university via bus or bike in 10 minutes, or take the beautiful 3-mile walk down the Thames path, via Iffley lock. Bagley wood, Shotover Country Park and Port Meadow are all under 15 minutes by car. **parking available*** There is space for two cars on the driveway. Please take care when parking and note the slightly uneven tarmac. As this is our family home we will be away during your stay but available for any questions. Lockbox access is provided for your convenience and flexibility on check in/out, and we have contacts nearby who can assist you during your stay if needed. This is our main residence, and it will be tidied and professionally cleaned for your arrival. We will leave all basic amenities to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible.
