Beautiful Pet Friendly Home in Cohousing Community near UNC Chapel Hill

This beautiful 3 story house (lot number 132) is located on the west side of Arcadia Cohousing, the first Cohousing community established on the east coast. It abuts a stretch of pine forest in the back, and has 2 screen porches and a patio area with lots of potted plants and a small bonfire on the side as well as a garden area with 2 raised beds and lots of space for growing things. It has 3 bedrooms (though one is more of an L shaped entrance as opposed to a wall with a door) and 2 1/2 bathrooms as well as a screened in porch on the 2nd floor. The house was built in 1994 and has been well maintained. It is being rented as fully furnished, and most of the furniture and the pictures will stay. I’m looking for a renter who is interested in intentional community and would love to participate in community activities. Carrboro is a very artsy and liberal town with lots of local cafes, independent artsy stores, and many beautiful walking trails. It is nearby UNC Chapel Hill. Well trained pets are welcome – I have several dog beds and some cat furniture I could leave if you are planning to bring pets. 2 assigned parking spaces are provided in the nearby group parking lot. I am planning to rent for 1-2 years and then either sell or move back depending on some external factors with a series of 6 month lease contracts with whomever I rent to. Pricing is fairly firm but I’d be open to making it flexible for the right family that would be great for the community. The house will become available in November.
