I am a business professor from The University of Texas at Austin. I'm away for a year on sabbatical while my partner resumes her medical school studies out-of-state. She had taken some time off while we welcomed our baby girl into the world. We are looking for a tenant who will treat our home with respect and care. I think you'll be most delighted with the location. It has a great neighborhood feel with young families, grown families, and retired people. There is no yard (or yardwork), but there are many nearby parks. I bike or bus to campus. We walk for groceries, to visit our pediatrician, or to go out to eat. There are also nice locations within walking distances for my fellow birdwatchers. Second, I think you'll like the home. It's simple but quiet, with a smart layout and good natural light out of the south facing windows. There are plenty of options to create your own space. I set up my office in an alcove of the kitchen because it gets good light. My partner set up hers in the upstairs living room at times (even better light) and in a guest room at other times (closable door) Finally, there is flexibility to set up the bedrooms to accommodate different families. The master suite has a large closet, dresser, and queen bed. One bedroom has a queen bed and dresser and the third bedroom has a crib, a twin bed, dresser, and closet. The downsides - there is little/no outside privacy in this townhouse. If you bring your own car, street parking is tight on Sundays due to proximity to the Farmer's Market. And finally, get ready to wait for the tankless water heater to kick in! Surprisingly, this is not much of a problem for showering but forget about washing your hands with WARM soapy water. Also, if you're bringing a mobile baby be warned that we have not baby-proofed the home as our daughter is still a delightful baby who stays where we put her!

Comments: Two queen beds, options for up to three twin beds. A number of baby items are available but it is a partial list as we still have a baby and took things that we can move easily. We did leave a crib, changing table, dresser, baby bookshelf, etc.
