Looking for an exchange or rental for the 2026-2027 school year

Skateboard lamp hanging on the wall? Check. Ridiculous number of books? Check. Two charming although quirky children, with whom EVERY SINGLE THING is a negotation? Also check. Adults are in our late forties - Jon works for a university doing Communications, and I work in labour relations in health care. Kate (13) and Amy (10) are animal lovers, readers, and champion negotiators. We love to try new food, wander new places, and are new to the whole home exchange concept! We have a 1907 house in the suburbs of Vancouver, with raspberry bushes, a huge rooftop deck, and an adult sized slide built into the middle of it, from upstairs to downstairs. (I kid you not - getting that sucker through building code was a CHALLENGE). We're looking for a 10-12 month single exchange for somewhere in France for the 2026-2027 school year- we'd prefer a smaller town but are pretty open minded as to location. Looking forward to meeting new people and seeing new places!
