Recently renovated guest apartment on the garden level of our historic Brooklyn row house. You will have a private entrance, bathroom with stall shower, Queen size bed, garden access, pinball machines and a small kitchen. There is a comfortable couch that is the size of a twin bed, but we typically limit the number of guests to two adults. We have two children (ages 9 and 12) and a dog upstairs, so you can hear us from time to time above. While you have full privacy, if you’re staying more than a few days, we may need to access the laundry which is on the same level as this apartment - we always coordinate timing with guest so we don't disturb you. This is a wonderful multicultural neighborhood with lots going on nearby! It's a busy neighborhood but our block is shockingly tranquil, very quiet at night with a neighborly residential feel. We are two blocks from Industry City with endless shopping, bars, restaurants, and events. 4 blocks to Sunset Park, a large community park with playgrounds, a public pool, and beautiful views of the sunset and Manhattan skyline. We are also one block from historic Greenwood Cemetery. The subway is only one block away and it's an express stop (D, N, and R trains) so it’s very fast into Manhattan. The B63 bus on our corner takes you very quickly into Park Slope. There are lots of great great restaurants and bars within walking distance, and a bowling alley (Melody Lanes) on the corner.
