I am an academic working in London but now based in the countryside. I am offering a lovely barn cottage which is separate but within my garden for rental to other academics or students. The cottage overlooks our lake set in the garden with birdlife. It is a quiet, peaceful setting ideal for studying and writing. As a bonus there is even a hot tub next to the cottage available for relaxation as well! There is easy access to Lewes, Brighton or Eastbourne by car, bus or train. The bus stop is right outside on the main street and goes to Lewes, Brighton and Eastbourne. Lewes has fast and frequent links to Brighton (15 mins) and Eastbourne (20 mins) by train. Car parking available on our driveway for your car. Getting into London is also easy by train from Lewes hence am able to keep working in London! Comments: 20 minutes drive to Brighton campus or 25 mins to Eastbourne. By public transport there are buses direct to Brighton and Eastbourne from a bus stop directly outside the house. Train is from Lewes and takes 15 mins.
