Inspiring Tranquil Retreat, Santa Fe : sunsets, culture, outdoor adventure

I am an integrative medicine doctor and medical anthropologist with a love of culture and also of nature. This complex ( main house, guest house, art studio) is my soothing place, which I have owned for 30 years and return to for rejuvenation and inspiration. I used to live there full-time and raised two daughters there but now, unfortunately I am not there full time. When I am in Santa fe, I enjoy yoga, music, hiking/skiing and friends. I live most of the time in NYC, working with patients and caring for my grandchildren. The main house is not available. The casita is newly renovated, has its own area for parking and a completely separate structure from the main house. I am hopeful that anyone who stays at the newly renovated Casita will embrace the retreat -like quiet and the big sky, the evening sunsets and the spectacular stars at night. But also appreciate how close the location is to downtown Santa Fe with its vibrant cultural life, and the landscape that beckons one to hike , river-raft, ski, etc. The casita is a separate building with complete privacy but visitors are welcome to wander the 6 acres as well as neighbors' areas. If I am there at the same time, I am deeply respectful of peoples' privacy and would expect the same from guests. However, I am friendly and welcoming if they choose to come over to the main house for information, advice on Santa fe activities, or a cup of tea. I envision the happiest of guests being ones who really love nature, who want a break from their chaotic/busy/noisy/pressured life or who want to create a retreat like visit to write a book, paint, work. And enjoy the breathtaking sunsets, the big sky filled with stars by night and almost always blue by day,
