Historic Lakefront House in Beautiful Westport Ontario

This is an ideal family house that is perfectly located in Westport Ontario. Situated on Main Street, you are literally a stone's throw to everything the village has to offer. This century house has the unique character of an older house with some of the comforts of modern living. A deep garden offers a ton of space for kids and dogs to run, and the dock with Adirondack chairs offers the lakeside living we all crave in the spring, summer and fall. The house has two big living rooms, one with a pull out sofa that sleeps 2. There is a large dining room that seat 6. The kitchen has a small TV room off of it with a sectional sofa and chair. There is a small bathroom off the kitchen with a shower/very small tub and laundry. Upstairs there are three bedrooms with sleeping for 7, one king, one single, one queen and one double. There is a second floor bathroom with tub/shower as well. The attic has 4 single beds which can be used in the summer. In the spring and early summer, the back garden can get quite wet. This has occurred for the past several years and is due to the lake water rising and the proximity to the natural spring near the marina.It dries as spring turns to summer but can be quite a nuisance. The shoreline is protected by Parks Canada and grasses cannot be removed. This is a natural habitat for turtles and other sea life that is Federally protected. If you would like to swim, you can use the docks at the marina or use a paddle board to get out and enjoy the water and cool off.
