I am an assistant professor in French literature at Grenoble University. I have been granted a five year research grant : during that time, I will live in Paris and rent my apartment in Grenoble as a furnished apartment. This apartment will delight you with its comfort, originality and location. Halfway between the train station and the city center (15 minutes on foot), it's located in the Championnet district, known for its bohemian atmosphere, authenticity and tranquility. It's on the groundfloor of a quiet street. There is little traffic in the street, but within five minutes you'll find bars, restaurants, shops, designer boutiques, cinemas and more. In summer, the ground-floor location guarantees natural coolness (≤25°C even during heatwaves) ! The apartment (55m2) is structured into five spacious, semi-open areas: - a living room (with a video projector and a piano); - a sleeping area on a mezzanine (with high enough ceilings to sit comfortably); - a kitchen area - a dining room lit by a skylight providing soft zenithal light - a library (or second bedroom that can be isolated by an opaque curtain).
